Harvest Assembly

On Friday SPS held a Harvest Assembly.  Rev Magdalena came in to lead it.  We sang Harvest songs and listened to  SPS Rocks, the school activity band.  They sang and played 'Don't Stop Believing'.  Hannah and Conor from P6 were in SPS Rocks and we were really impressed with their performance. 

As part of the Harvest assembly, pupils were encouraged to take in 1 item of food.  The collection of food is then going to be donated to the Orkney Food Bank.  We learned that there are 2000 people in Orkney who struggle to put food on their table each week so this will be a great gift.
