We took part in pond dipping with Lindsey Taylor from the RSPB yesterday and it was AMAZING!
We didn't expect to find many species in our school pond since it is winter but we were pleasantly surprised.
What we had to do was run our nets through the water and plants then empty the contents into trays. We could also scoop species into plastic containers that had magnifying facilities to have a closer look at their features.
