The rest of Week 3

Club Golf

We had another Club Golf session this week.  Dougie Slater from Stromness Golf Club and Michael Swanney from Active School were teaching us how to do a full swing.  We also practised our skills in putting and chipping. 

Tag Rugby

On Friday P5-7 headed off to Kirkwall for the Tag Rugby Festival.  The sun came out and everyone had a good time.  Mr McIntosh gave P5 a whole class SPS Hero award for showing good sportsmanship, positive attitudes and good behaviour at the festival.  Well Done P5! 

Activities

Whole school Friday activities started again on Friday.  We were a little exhausted after the Tag Rugby but we all got stuck in.  

We are still looking for parent helpers for Activities each Friday so if you can offer any time between 2.30 and 3.30 to lend a hand please get in touch with the school office.  

Activities include:  Music Club, Gardening, Football, Woodwork, Scrapstore, Indoor Games, Golf, Athletics and Cycling.
