Wednesday...
We have continued to work on our addition skills this week. We have been exploring the rules of written algorithms. We even got the tens and unit cubes out to demonstrate exactly what is happening when we write an addition sum as some of us became a little confused with carrying over.
Once we had a good grasp of the rules we realised that we could do HUGE sums no problem at all.
Here we are making a whole class sum!

WOW! But we managed it!!!
For class PE this afternoon we carried on with our team work skills. We have improved working as a class team so we invited another class to join us so we could show off our skills. We played rounders with P4 in the sunshine! We started of P4 v P5 but then we mixed up our groups.
It was good fun!
We didn't want to go back inside as it was so sunny so Miss Kelday let us complete our grammar lesson outside. We used playground chalk to practise our speech marks.
Miss Kelday was looking for speech marks around the spoken words, new lines for new speakers and a variety of said words.
Some pupils were able to add in adverbial clauses as well to let us know what was happening while the words were being said.
And Finally...
I forgot to mention earlier in the week that Hannah was our SPS Hero this week for achieving her Deepender Certificate during class PE on Friday.
Well Done Hannah!
