Afternoon Tea

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our Afternoon Tea Party today.  It was a super way to round off a project and have the chance to show our families what we have been learning about.

We spent the morning preparing our presentations and began to set up the learning displays in the hall.

Straight after lunch we got changed into our Victorian costumes and started setting out the tables and food.

It was great to see so many families today. We enjoyed entertaining you all.

We even had lots of little people come to join us.  We prepared a peedie play corner for them and put on a few puppet shows to keep them entertained.

As well as hosting afternoon tea we sang Food, Glorious Food from the musical Oliver Twist and Jayden read The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear.

A couple of groups put on puppet shows and we had some of our work from the term up on display.

What a busy afternoon.
P5 still managed to sneak in a quick cuppa too!

Thank you again to everyone who came along and for providing such delicious food.
We hope you had an enjoyable afternoon.
