Comic Relief

Friday was Red Nose Day and SPS spent the day having fun and raising money for a good cause.  

The P7 class started the day with an assembly to explain the purpose behind Red Nose Day and we watched a clip about children in Africa who are not as fortunate as we are.  They also told us that the UK Government would be doubling all money raised by schools this year!  

After that there were lots of fun stalls to visit.  We all spent our pennies and had a great time winning prizes and buying goodies.

The afternoon was the SPS Talent Show.  Each class submitted 2 entries - the talent on show was brilliant. 

Rebecca was our first P6 entry - she played keyboard along with her sister Katie. 

Jayden was our second P6 entry - she sang a song.

Rachel from P2 was the overall winner.
