My apologies, the clas talking homework slips have just been found in the classroom!
For anyone who happens to look a the blog and has time tonight our talking homework for tomorrow was as follows:
In class today we have been looking at and discussing some Scottish food and drink adverts. We have been looking at both the words and pictures and discussing how they catch our attention and how we know what the advert is for.
Tomorrow in class, the children are going to design their own persuasive advert for selling Irn-Bru. This was a real favourite Scottish drink that the class were keen to find out about.
With your child, talk about the following:
Where are they going to draw the can on their advert?
What words might they put on their advert? Can they remember the word that appeared lots of the adverts we looked at?
How are they going to persuade us to buy this product? Does it make us strong? Does it taste delicious?
Where can I buy this product from? How much will it cost?
