Making Model Skara Brae Houses in P4/3

 

 

 

We had great fun trying to make our own Skara Brae Model Houses this week.

We made these houses from Stones that Miss Begley had collected from the beach.

 

It was trickier to build them than we thought and lots of us thought they must have been very clever to build these houses over 5000 years ago!

 

 

 

 We worked excellently with a partner, remembering the shape of the houses and the doorway to help us to enter the houses

 

 

 

Some of us decided to use twigs to try and make a roof for our model houses.

 

Keith and Jay worked hard to add the fire in the centre of the house and also tried to make a box bed. Well Done!

Eileen and Leigha made the fireplace and tried to make the stone dresser too.
